In February 2024, ASNC and the American College of Cardiology shared with Senate leaders concerns about the implications of Section 4 of S.3458, the Health Care PRICE Transparency Act 2.0, which posed an unnecessary administrative burden on already strained physician practices and would not have resulted in a patient-centric solution to price transparency. Section 4 would likely have impacted the vast majority of physicians, ranging from small family practices to specialists—all of whom provide imaging services in the office setting.
