The American Medical Association (AMA) has granted ASNC additional representation in the House of Delegates (HOD). Starting at the June 2025 HOD meeting, Ahmet Oktay, MD, of Rush Medical Group, will join Suman Tandon, MD, FASNC, in representing ASNC.

The HOD is the AMA’s legislative and policymaking body, which meets twice per year to determine AMA policy. At HOD meetings, Drs. Oktay and Tandon will discuss issues of importance to nuclear cardiology practice and vote in accordance with ASNC’s policy priorities.
