ASNC Accepting Applications for ‘Future Leaders: The Next Generation of Nuclear Cardiology’

ASNC is now accepting applications for this year’s Future Leaders: The Next Generation of Nuclear Cardiology program. Future Leaders introduces medical students, residents, trainees, fellows-in-training, and junior faculty to nuclear cardiology’s leaders and highlights how exciting and impactful a career in cardiovascular multimodality imaging can be.

Future Leaders has a track record of opening doors for aspiring nuclear cardiologists and multimodality imagers. “It was perfect, I loved it!” said Afarin Neishabouri, MD, a postdoctoral associate at Yale University who participated in last year’s program. “I’m very early in my career, so the program gave me a sense of where I might be in 10 years.”

Be Our Special Guests at ASNC2025

Early-career physicians and medical students participated in last year’s Future Leaders career development workshop focused on questions that imaging cardiologists often encounter while building their careers.

We look forward to welcoming this year’s Future Leaders participants to ASNC2025, Sept. 4-7 in Orlando, Florida. Participants are encouraged to attend sessions, participate in career development activities, and join in social events.

Attend the Future Leaders Career Development Workshop. This in-person event will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, from 2:00 to 5:30 PM (Eastern Time). Attendees will learn how to prepare for and navigate key career questions. Topics include fellowship opportunities, job choices, research interests, work-life balance, connecting with mentors, and much more. The symposium will include breakout groups for asking questions and networking. View the agenda.

Join the Future Leaders Reception. Relax and connect with ASNC’s Board of Directors, ASNC2025 faculty, and members of ASNC’s Leadership Development Program at an informal reception honoring nuclear cardiology’s next generation.

Future Leaders participants will receive complimentary ASNC2025 registration and up to 2 complimentary hotel room nights at ASNC2025’s official hotel, the Caribe Royale Orlando.
