Speakers Confirmed for Health Policy Session at ASNC2016

This week, the ASNC team confirmed a stellar line-up of health policy and practice management experts for the ASNC2016 session “Alternative Payment Models & Value-Based Healthcare: What Does It Mean for Cardiovascular Imaging?” On Thursday, Sept. 22, from 4:00 to 5:45 pm, on the main stage at ASNC2016, a team of five panelists will take the Nuclear Cardiology community on a guided tour through the rapidly evolving policy landscape.
They'll explain the forthcoming regulatory changes and new payment models that are poised to affect every U.S. cardiac practice, with focus on the predicted impact of value-based reimbursement on cardiovascular imaging. Speakers will report on where the U.S. healthcare system is today, where it's going and the challenges that every cardiology practice should consider as regulations for the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) are rolled out.
