Physician/Scientist Membership
Physician/Scientist Membership
The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) welcomes physicians and scientists actively engaged in nuclear cardiology practice and/or research to join the ASNC member community.
Requirements
Physicians and Scientists are eligible to become members by completing the following requirements:
- Have earned an advanced academic degree (MD, DO, PhD, or equivalent)
- In good standing in their respective communities
- Actively engaged in nuclear cardiology practice and/or research in the U.S. or Canada
Membership Dues
- Full Domestic Members: $310
Early Career Physician Membership
The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) invites U.S. and international physicians who are in their first three years in a nuclear cardiology practice or research program to become a member at a discounted membership rate in addition to gaining all ASNC member benefits.
Membership Dues
- Early Career Physician Members: $75 (first year), $150 (second and third years)
Trainee Membership
ASNC is pleased to offer a FREE Trainee Membership to cardiology, nuclear medicine, radiology and post-doc fellows, residents, medical students and technologist students training in nuclear cardiology.
Requirements:
- Currently in a training program where they will complete either Level 2 or Level 3 training in nuclear cardiology
- Actively in a training program within the calendar year of which they are applying for membership
Membership Dues
- Trainee Members: Complimentary while in training
Emeritus Members
A current member of the Society who has been a member for at least five (5) years upon retirement or has reached age 70, is eligible to apply for Emeritus Member status. Such status permits a waiver of annual membership dues.
Non-Physician Membership
The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) supports professionals actively involved in every aspect of the nuclear cardiology industry. Professionals in a non-physician role including nurses, scientists, physician assistants, industry representatives and practice administrators are invited to the ASNC Community.
Technologist Membership
ASNC welcomes technologists who are actively engaged in the performance of nuclear cardiology and/or nuclear medicine to the ASNC Community.
Membership Dues: $80
Industry Membership
Employees of Industry organizations in the field of nuclear medicine are encouraged to join the ASNC Community.
Membership Dues: $250
Associate Membership
ASNC seeks to support professionals throughout the nuclear cardiology industry.
Membership Dues: $100
Practice Administrator Member
ASNC welcomes professionals who are actively engaged in the supervision or management of facilities performing cardiovascular nuclear procedures.
Membership Dues: $100 (Current MedAxiom Members: $75)
International Members
The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology welcomes physicians, scientists, and trainees from around the world to become a part of the ASNC Community and utilize the many benefits of ASNC Membership. If you reside in the U.S. or Canada, please refer to the Physician/Scientist application.
Requirements

- Actively engaged in nuclear cardiology practice and/or research in any country outside the U.S. or Canada
International Physician/Scientist Membership
International physicians and scientists who have earned an advanced academic degree (MD, DO, PhD, or equivalent), are in good standing in their professional communities, and are actively engaged in nuclear cardiology practice and/or research.
Membership Dues: $225
International Emerging Markets
Physicians and scientists residing in developing countries, as defined by ASNC, who have earned an advanced academic degree (MD, DO, PhD, or equivalent), are in good standing in their respective communities, and are actively engaged in nuclear cardiology practice and/or research.
Membership Dues: $75

- To ensure your payment is received on time, please pay by credit card. Please note, processing check payments may take up to three weeks.
- We do not accept phone or fax payments.
- JNC now features a monthly subscription with 12 online issues.
- ASNC membership is based on the calendar year and runs from January 1 through December 31 of every year. If you renew your membership at any point in the year before September 1, your membership will expire December 31 of that year. ASNC does not pro-rate member dues. All ASNC membership benefits, including the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology (JNC), will cease if your dues payment is not received by December 31 each year.
