ASNC-ACC-Multisociety-Letter-on-Burdensome-Price-Transparency-Requirements_02-14-2025
ASNC and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) are leading an effort to avert burdensome price transparency requirements for imaging providers. On Feb. 15, 2025, ASNC, the ACC, and 5 more cardiovascular medical societies sent a letter to congressional committee leaders asking that physician practices be excluded from any future imaging price transparency requirements. They urged the legislators to instead focus attention on ensuring that health plans and issuers are complying with current price transparency requirements.
