A Message from ASNC’s President and President-Elect

ASNC’s 2025 advocacy delegation held over 40 meeting with congressional leaders and their legislative staff. Sign up now to be part of the 2026 delegation!
Dear Colleagues,
We are writing to invite you to participate in ASNC’s Capitol Hill Days on May 4-5, 2026, in Washington, DC. This is a unique opportunity for you to meet with congressional leaders, discuss the real-world impacts of healthcare issues, and guide decision-making on critical topics such as prior authorization and physician payment reform.
This program is part of ASNC’s strategy to help shape policies that support innovation in nuclear cardiology and help us to better serve our patients. Your presence is important!
Our 2026 Capitol Hill Days will build on the tremendous success we had visiting Congress this year. In addition to holding more than 40 meetings between ASNC leaders and legislators, we hosted a standing-room-only congressional briefing on prior authorization. With your engagement, we will continue forging relationships with congressional offices and keep the momentum going.
ASNC Will Prepare You to Succeed
ASNC’s Health Policy Team will schedule congressional meetings on your behalf and hold a virtual training session to prepare you for your meetings and sharpen your advocacy skills.
Key Dates/Times:
- Monday, May 4: Arrive in Washington, DC, in time to participate in a 5:00 PM (Eastern Time) dinner briefing.
- Tuesday, May 5: Gather for a group breakfast before heading to Capitol Hill for a full day of meetings. Plans are underway for a congressional briefing showcasing the value of nuclear cardiology to policymakers and other stakeholders.
Sign Up to Participate
The fee to participate in ASNC’s Capitol Hill Days is only $199. This fee includes your advocacy training sessions, congressional meeting scheduling, leave-behind meeting materials as well as the dinner briefing on May 4 and breakfast gathering on May 5. ASNC has also arranged a discounted room rate at a hotel within easy walking distance of Capitol Hill. This event has limited capacity and is open only to ASNC members. We encourage you to reserve your spot early and renew your membership now.
From our own experiences, we can tell you that participating in ASNC’s Capitol Hill Days is an eye-opening, rewarding experience that will empower you to continue advocating for our profession and our patients long after you return home.
We look forward to advocating with you.
