Chaired by Renée Bullock-Palmer, MD, FASNC and Rupa Sanghani, MD, FASNC, the half-day, virtual program will feature a panel of cardiologists specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of CVD in women. Learning Objectives
  1. Describe sex-specific differences in the pathophysiology of coronary artery disease and in the manifestation of ischemic heart disease in women
  2. Discuss the relationship between maternal mortality and cardiovascular outcomes
  3. Review the pathophysiology and diagnostic strategy for woman with coronary microvascular disease
  4. Evaluate the causes and impact of ethnic disparities on maternal mobility and mortality in women
  5. Explain how novel imaging and invasive techniques are used for evaluating heart disease in women, including the role of cardiac imaging in risk assessment of the pre-transplant female patient
