Cardiac PET Intensive Workshop

Next Date: Fall 2022

The Cardiac PET Intensive Workshops discuss emerging applications of cardiac PET. The program format includes lectures and small breakout sessions for in-depth learning. Participants read and review 60 cardiac PET studies with expert faculty in small group sessions to enhance interaction and learning.

These case-based workshops provide:

  • Nine pre-recorded lectures
  • Live case review
  • Small group case-based discussions
  • Approaches to performing, interpreting and reporting cardiac PET myocardial perfusion and metabolic studies
  • Understanding the importance of myocardial blood flow measurements
  • Considerations for starting a PET laboratory
     

Cardiac PET Advanced Workshop 

Next Date: Fall 2022

ASNC is now offering the next level of PET learning with in-depth discussions of challenging cases frequently seen in clinical practice. This workshop is designed for those who attended the Cardiac PET Intensive Workshops or those who have had an active cardiac PET lab for more than one year. 

The cases that will be discussed in the advanced workshop include:
  • Myocardial perfusion imaging with coronary artery calcium 
  • Assessment of cardiac allograft vasculopathy
  • Viability imaging
  • Inflammation
  • Sarcoidosis
  • Infection
  • Interpretation of the incidental findings on CT attenuation correction and calcium scoring
