This 3-part OnDemand series provides an in-depth exploration of F-18 flurpiridaz and its application in cardiac PET myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI), guiding clinicians through normal interpretation, abnormal case analysis, and practical implementation in both pharmacologic and exercise stress settings.
These webinars will be helpful for cardiac PET imagers who want to understand the nuances of F-18 image acquisition and interpretation, and incorporating this tracer in clinical practice.
Part 1: Overview of F-18 Flurpiridaz and Interpreting Normal Studies
Part 1 of this series provides an overview of F-18 flurpiridaz and important things to consider as you incorporate this tracer into clinical practice; discusses the interpretation of normal studies performed with pharmacologic stress; and offers important perspectives on the added value of myocardial blood flow.

Learning Objectives
Upon completing this activity, learners should be able to:
- Describe the unique properties of F-18 flurpiridaz compared with other cardiac PET tracers
- Identify physiological uptake patterns and normal variants seen on F-18 flurpiridaz images
- Provide details of pharmacologic and exercise stress imaging protocols
Watch Part 1 and earn up to 0.75 CME credits.
Part 2: Interpreting and Reporting Abnormal F-18 Flurpiridaz Studies
Part 2 of this series provides an in-depth discussion of three abnormal F-18 studies. For each case, the faculty will review uptake patterns, incidental findings, and normal variants seen with F-18 tracers; explain how they differ from existing cardiac PET tracers; and discuss the interpretation of myocardial blood flow measurements.
Learn a systematic approach to reviewing these images including how PET MPI cases can help you provide the clinical information your referring physicians need to best serve your patients.

Learning Objectives
Upon completing this activity, learners should be able to:
- Describe how to identify misregistration and the importance of minimizing patient motion
- Identify utility of wall motion to avoid false positive studies
Watch Part 2 and earn up to 0.5 CME credits.
Part 3: Exercise Stress with F-18 Flurpiridaz and Real-World Clinical Cases
Part 3 focuses on the use of exercise stress with F-18 flurpiridaz and discusses key issues to consider when reviewing these images. Two real-world clinical cases from Houston Methodist Hospital will be presented.

Learning Objectives
Upon completing this activity, learners should be able to:
- Describe the importance of a structured approach to interpretation of F-18 flurpiridaz imaging
- Compare and define differences in exercise and pharmacologic stress imaging protocols and image acquisition
Watch Part 3 and earn up to 0.5 CME credits.
