The mission of the Institute for the Advancement of Nuclear Cardiology (IANC) is to advance the field of nuclear cardiology through the support of research/innovation, promoting the continued development of the essential disciplines and patient education.
The IANC Research Fellowship Award, was created to support research grants and advance the field of nuclear cardiology.
Your pledge to the IANC will enable us to :
- support research and innovation in nuclear cardiology
- foster professional talent that will support the advancement and sustainability of the field
- provide patient education.
Please consider supporting the ASNC Institute for the Advancement of Nuclear Cardiology (IANC) Research Fellowship Award, created to support promising young researchers in the field of nuclear cardiology by donating to the IANC today. Donations are 100% tax deductible.
|Thanks to the generosity of ASNC members, the 2nd IANC Research Fellowship Grant ($50,000) was awarded at ASNC2019 to Senthil Selvaraj, MD, to fund his project "Comparison of the Short-Term Effect of Dietary Carbohydrate Restriction Versus Exogenous Ketone Supplementation on Myocardial Glucose Suppression and Timing to Achieve a State of Ketosis Using Serial Imaging on a State-of-the Art Total-Body PET System." ASNC is thrilled to support young researchers working on innovative projects and look forward to Dr. Selvarj’s continued success. Your donation will help ASNC continue to enable our future leaders to advance the field of nuclear cardiology.|
|Thanks to the generosity of ASNC members, the first IANC Research Fellowship Grant ($50,000) was awarded at ASNC2018 to Krishna Patel, MD, to fund her project, “Patient-centered Reporting in Myocardial Perfusion Imaging: Development and Pilot-testing a Framework for Incorporating Patient-centered Decision Support in MPI Reports.”|
Nuclear cardiac imaging has been proven to be a clinically effective approach in the diagnosis and prognosis of cardiovascular disease. A rich foundation of scientific evidence set the stage to demonstrate the value and role of nuclear cardiac image in a value based health care system. ASNC has taken and will continue to take a leadership role in developing and expanding the field. With the future in mind, ASNC has established the Institute for the Advancement of Nuclear Cardiology (IANC) to enhance growth and innovation of nuclear cardiology and its professionals and patients. The IANC will provide a framework that will drive continued innovation and commitment to the field.
Donate to the IANC Fund. Thank you for your support.
