CME Credit The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology designates this educational activity for a maximum of 14.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Registration Fees The registration fee for this program is $570 for members and $670 for non-members if registered by July 14 and $670 for members and $770 for non-members if registered between July 15 and August 18. Cancellation Policy Coding Nuclear Cardiology Correctly Sept. 7, 2006, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm This seminar focuses on how reimbursement is effected by (1) current CPT and HCPCS coding and (2) Medicare payment policies. The faculty concentrates on the interpretation and application of the latest in CPT and Medicare for 2006, including the Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) in your office and hospital, the Ambulatory Payment Classification (HOPPS) in your hospital outpatient practice, and the Correct Coding Initiative. Attendees will gain the information required to ensure that billing systems are correct and current for 2006. Attendees will also learn what the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services propose for 2007 that affects nuclear cardiology codes and payment policies. This seminar is geared for anyone in a nuclear medicine practice who is interested and responsible for nuclear cardiology reimbursement. Target Audience Physicians, technologists, administrative staff and other individuals responsible for the proper coding of nuclear cardiology procedures.
