The Nuclear Cardiology Foundation offers brochures to help nuclear cardiology professionals explain imaging techniques and unique patient indications to referring physicians and their patients. These educational materials address screening of women for coronary artery disease, special considerations for patients with diabetes, and the utility of myocardial perfusion imaging for detecting and diagnosing heart disease.

Diabetics and Heart Disease
Diabetes affects an estimated 20.6 million American adults over the age of twenty. This brochure outlines the risk factors, screening recommendations, and risk reduction techniques to help diagnose and manage diabetic patients with heart disease.
