Women and CAD

ASNC is dedicated to fostering optimal delivery of nuclear cardiology services to all patient populations, including women with known or suspected coronary artery disease (CAD). We are proud to provide these educational resources for you and your colleagues to generate awareness and recognize, treat and prevent CAD in women.

CAD in Women: Improving Diagnosis and Management (PDF)
Despite advances in the detection and management of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in recent years, CVD risk remains underrecognized in many special populations, including women. This publication summarizes the presentations given at a recent roundtable meeting in New York City on this important topic. The meeting included members of the Association of Black Cardiologists and was sponsored by Astellas Pharma US, Inc.
