Risk Reduction

In the primary care setting, care plans for all patients should include at least some measures to minimize cardiovascular risk. The extent and aggressiveness of such measures are based on each patient's individual risk profile (Table 6). In this section, a range of preventative interventions will be discussed, with a focus on women.
