Designed for physicians seeking certification in cardiac CT, this course covers all the key topics certification candidates need to review, from image acquisition to radiation safety protocols.

Purpose
The purpose of this program is to prepare cardiologists for board examinations in cardiovascular computed tomography.
Objectives
The primary objectives of the Second Annual CT Board Exam Preparation Course are to enable participants to:
- Appraise knowledge of physics and instrumentation associated with cardiac CT
- List the biological hazards of radiation
- Explain image acquisition and processing, including artifacts
- Discuss the use of CT in the assessment of coronary artery stenosis
- Interpret CT images, including coronaries, bypass grafts, and non-coronary findings
- Discuss outcome data that supports the use of calcium scoring and CT coronary angiography
Target Audience
This program is designed for cardiologists who are performing CT angiography and preparing for certification in cardiovascular computed tomography.
Accreditation
The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
CME Credit
The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology designates this educational activity for a maximum of 8.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellations received by March 17, 2009 will be eligible for a full refund less a $50 administrative fee. For cancellations made between March 17 and April 15, 2009, a $75 administrative fee will apply. No refunds will be made after April 15, 2009. No refunds will be given for no-shows.
In the unlikely event that the program is canceled, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology will refund the registration fee in full but is not responsible for any hotel or travel costs you may incur.
