Important Notice for Users of Mo-99 / Tc-99m Generators

Covidien Imaging Solutions Pharmacy recently released an important product notification to their customers using molybdenum-99 / technetium-99m (Tc-99m) generators.  There have been some reports of the molybdenum breakthrough concentration exceeding the limit of 0.15 microcuries Mo-99 per millicurie of Tc-99m.  Covidien's customers are urged to test each eluate to ensure that this conentration limit is not exceeded.  This important product notification is applicable to those who elute generators, not to those who purchase prepared radiopharmaceuticals.  For more information, please click here.
