On March 17, 2005, ASNC President Dr. Kim Williams testified on behalf of the Coalition for Patient-Centered Imaging before the House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee. His testimony communicated a simple message that "CPCI believes that clinician imaging specialists are part of the health care solution, not the problem. These specialists are able to provide the right test for the right patient - performing it with quality and interpreting the images with the particular patient's clinical context in mind."
