ASNC Editor-In Chief Search
ASNC is conducting a search for a new Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology, as Dr. Beller will finish his second 5-year term at the end of 2013. If you are interested in becoming the next Editor-in-Chief of the JNC, please read the search guidelines and the timeline below before submitting an application.
Draft Timeline:
September 2012 – Call for Applications
October 2012 – Search Committee reviews applications and selects candidates for interviews
November 2012 – Editor-in-Chief interviews
January 2013 – The new editor-in-chief is announced and puts together a team of associate editors and appoints a managing editor to be ready to receive manuscripts by July 1, 2013. Authors are informed via the Instructions to Authors that after July, 1 2013 all manuscripts will be submitted to the new editorial office.
July 2013 - All manuscripts submitted after July 1, 2013 are sent to the new editorial office. The July-August, September-October, and November-December issues for 2013 are the responsibility of George Beller, with assistance from Wendy Passerell.
January 2014 – The new Editor-in-Chief’s first issue, also the first of 2014 (January-February) is released.
