Program Objectives:

The primary objectives for this course are to enable participants to:

 

Tentative Program:

1)      Radiation dose in cardiac imaging: the scope of the issue

2)      Case presentation: Wide-beam reconstruction technology and prone imaging cases of teaching value

3)      Reducing radiation while maintaining quality using novel technologies

4)      Identify the Problem: Case examples

5)      Moderation of Case Presentations

6)      Moderation of  Case Presentations: Interesting cases in the use of PET coronary flow reserve by Dr. Matt Taylor from University of Missouri, Kansas City

7)      Question and Answer Period

 

Survey and Evaluation:

 All learners will be asked to complete a brief survey prior to the program and after the program to identify how the gaps in their understanding of standards of care especially with regard to radiation safety were narrowed.
