ASNC Becomes New Resource for CardioSmart
ASNC is pleased to become a regular contributor to CardioSmart — a patient and support website produced by the American College of Cardiology (ACC). CardioSmart will now regularly feature articles written by ASNC members — all leading professionals in the nuclear cardiovascular field. This new resource demonstrates ASNC’s ongoing commitment to patient education and safety.
Currently in CardioSmart, helpful articles can be found on such topics as, “How the Heart Works” and “Find a Cardiologist.” ASNC’s new contributions will specifically focus on nuclear cardiology testing, including stress tests, heart scans, and patient-centered imaging.
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States and advances in the diagnosis and treatment can only become available through improved research, education, and increased knowledge. ASNC is making every effort to create a unified, inclusive medical community by sharing knowledge and resources that will ultimately lead to quality imaging and saving lives.
