Young Investigator Competition

Any physician or scientist who is currently in a residency or fellowship training program, or is below the age of 35, is eligible to submit an abstract in the Young Investigator Award (YIA) competition.  Check the corresponding box during the abstract submission process to become eligible for the competition.  Abstracts not selected as finalists in the competition will automatically be considered for general presentation.

A panel will select the best abstracts from those submitted.  These papers will be presented orally and awards will be given.  All finalists will receive a $500 travel grant, complimentary registration to ASNC2012, and a Certificate of Merit.  In addition, the oral presentation will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will select the best abstract presentation.  The individual with the best presentation will receive an additional $500 grant.  Please review the Abstract Submission Guidelines before submitting your work.

Winners for the 2012 Young Investigator Competition have been announced
