Purpose
Jointly sponsored by ASNC and the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories (ICANL), this program is designed for nuclear cardiology professionals who are preparing to have their laboratories accredited or who are interested in learning more about the accreditation process. The workshop will include a general overview, accreditation troubleshooting tips, and a question-and-answer session with faculty.
Objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the accreditation process
- Discuss the importance of accreditation standards
- Explain commonly seen deficiencies in the nuclear lab
- Recognize the importance of the site visit process
CE Credit
This course has been approved by ASNC and is accepted by NMTCB for 3.0 ARRT Category A credits.
The SNMTS will add the Category A credits received from this activity to SNMTS members' VOICE transcripts.
