Jointly sponsored by ASNC and the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories (ICANL), this program is designed for nuclear cardiology professionals who are preparing to have their laboratories accredited or who are interested in learning more about the accreditation process. The workshop will include a general overview, accreditation troubleshooting tips, and a question-and-answer session with faculty.
Nuclear Cardiology for Nurses and Nurse Practitioners September 11, 2008, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
From integrating multiple modalities in a cardiology lab to selecting protocols that enhance laboratory efficiencies and productivity, this pre-meeting program focuses on topics of utmost importance to nuclear cardiology nurses and nurse practitioners.
Getting to Know Cardiac CT: A Workshop for the Technologist September 11, 2008, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tentative topics for this pre-meeting program include physics of computed tomography (CT); instrumentation, acquisition and processing parameters for CT angiography; and handling of non-cardiac findings.
