Any physician or scientist who is currently in a residency or fellowship training program, or is below the age of 35, is eligible to submit an abstract in the Young Investigators (YI) competition. A panel will select the best abstracts from those submitted. These papers will be presented orally and awards will be given. All finalists will receive a $500 travel grant, complimentary registration, and a Certificate of Merit. In addition, the oral presentations will be reviewed by a panel of judges who will select the best abstract presentation. The individual with the best presentation will receive an additional $500 travel grant.
